Michael Pearce, Managing Director
Michael Pearce co-founded Consider This, alongside Paul Taylor over 12 years ago. Michael stays involved, seeing everything from the beginning to the very end. His and Paul's relationship hits the right balance - they both see things from different angles but see things in the same light. They have a deep understanding of what each other wants to see or is thinking about and nothing is ever wrong, but an option to be explored. You never know where that is going to lead.
Often the problem contains the solution - the solution is within the problem. Michael studied at the London College of Printing (which is now known as London College of Communication), one of the top three schools for his field of studies - Graphic, Media and Design. He worked in a European branding retail agency, dealing with clients such as Sephora, Faith, Reebok and Morgan. He then went to a small agency in Park Royal where he met Paul and went on to set up Consider This. He tells us, after that - the rest is history. In 2016, Michael set up an online greetings card company, Nobbly, which was a long term dream of his.
Paul Taylor, Managing Director
Paul Taylor has been working in the arts for over 27 years in a variety of roles. He trained at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and worked extensively in theatre, TV and film as both an actor and director for many years. This included playing lead roles in the West End and being the first actor from the West to play a lead role on Chinese TV in an epic, 21 hour-long series, with a weekly audience of over two hundred and fifty million.
Paul retrained in Arts Marketing 18 years ago and used his new found skills to fill in the gaps between his acting work. He very quickly built a loyal customer base and in 2003, alongside Michael Pearce, co-founded Consider This UK. Paul's background in performing, directing and producing, combined with his knowledge of managing a successful marketing company, also led to the creation of The Forge Initiative, a one year programme in practical theatre based in Paddington, where Paul is the Executive Director.
Barbara Rooney, Senior Account Executive
Barbara joined Consider This over ten years ago as an Account Manager and, through her enthusiasm, has worked her way up to her current position as Senior Account Executive. Barbara's primary role is liaising with clients and building new relationships, and is always at hand to provide her expert and experienced advice. Barbara is a whizz at printing; throw any term at her and she can tell you exactly what it means, even if you have zero background knowledge of printing. Her organisational skills are second to none. She also takes her hand to accounting, ensuring that accounts balance out and everything runs smoothly. She works closely with all members of the team to make sure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
Barbara has 12 years worth of experience in the banking industry. She has also worked for the NHS, an American software company and has extensive experience in customer service, which reflects upon her strong personnel and client communications. Barbara has a great sense of humour and creates a light hearted atmosphere in the office. She is also in charge of disciplinary and often makes tardy members of the office do a number of press ups or sit ups as punishment.
Alan Wakefield, Accounts Manager
Alan joined Consider This over ten years ago and is now our Accounts Manager, responsible for the day to day upkeep of the computerised accounts and payroll system, ensuring the accounts are prepared for auditing purposes.
Before joining Consider This, Alan had worked for Barclays on the foreign currency area of the business for five years. Alan also works on his family accounting business, looking after some self-employed individuals.
He enjoys travelling abroad when the opportunity arises, mostly on city breaks and is a keen follower of sports such as football, cricket and horse-racing. Alan also enjoys opportunities to work on his garden when the weather permits.
Mike Sompiyachoke, Senior Designer
Having recently joined Consider This in April 2016, Mike (formerly known as Michael, however, to save confusion with our Director's name, he shortened his name) heads up the design and creative projects team. With over seven years commercial experience, Mike specialises in Digital, Print and Video production and has worked with a wide range of blue chip clients.
With his freakish OCD in attention to detail, Mike takes pride in everything he does and enjoys challenging himself. An avid gamer and movie buff, Mike's passion lies in travel and photography... oh, and food. He loves food!
Vishal Govinden, Development Manager
Vishal is our Development Manager specialising in the design, development and implementation of websites ranging from CMS, CRM and eCommerce. Some of his platforms of choice to help our clients are Joomla, Magento and CiviCRM.
He joined Consider This in August 2013 as a Front-End Web Developer and over the years Vishal has worked with over 130 clients, helping them develop their online presence, including One Click Group, bbodance, ALRA and Laine Theatre Arts amongst many others.
Prior to Consider This, Vishal won a Design Competition in 2006 and graduated from the University of the Arts as an Information Designer and worked as a freelancer. In his free time, Vishal enjoys cooking and is a football enthusiast, who enjoys life in the country side.
Pierpaolo Panico, SEO Manager
Pierpaolo joined Consider This in June 2014, and heads up the SEO campaigns for Consider This and its clients. Pierpaolo is a SEO professional with a genuine passion for online marketing and online storytelling. His goal is to provide high quality and reliable services in order to make any web project a success, from inbound marketing to content strategy and on-page optimisation.
He has over five years of experience in SEO and has worked for firms and digital agencies, helping companies like Expedia, HostelBookers and currently ALRA.
Naresh Shahi, Software Developer
Naresh is our web application developer who has a proven track record of using sound engineering practice to produce bespoke web application software to meet client’s extensive requirements. Naresh joined Consider This in October 2015 and has been working with clients such as ALRA, Hillingdon Council and London Studio Centre, delivering software applications using advanced and modern knowledge of software engineering techniques and methods.
Naresh is a team player, easy to work with and he ensures the interest of the client is at the heart of the project. Naresh has a great sense of humour, he enjoys playing sports and he socializes actively.
Bolaji Folaranmi, Digital Marketing Executive
Bolaji joined the team in 2016 and is passionate about all things digital. She helps to coordinate all social media, web content, email marketing, SEO, PPC and online advertisement campaigns for the company and its range of clients.
Her role also involves closely collaborating with the print, web development and graphic design teams to implement integrated marketing campaigns, as well as to ensure all projects run smoothly and deliver results.
Before realising her interest in marketing, Bolaji had previously worked in the finance sector, but it didn't take long for her to discover that it wasn't the career path for her! Now at Consider This, she is having fun pursuing her passions and developing her skills. When she's not working Bolaji is an active dancer, blogger and anime enthusiast. Her drive for perfection and meticulous personality make her a great support for the team.
