DanceBiz is owned by ThinkSmart Software and provides a total business management solution which gives dance teachers the power to operate their business administration from one platform.
After operating in Australia since 2008, DanceBiz wanted to expand into the UK market. With our extensive experience in dance marketing, we supported DanceBiz to build brand awareness within the dance industry and to increase the number of software subscriptions in the UK. This included:
Brand Development and Graphic Design
We conceptualised the visual and verbal brand identity, messaging and brand guidelines to be used across all of its marketing, both online and offline. We designed all its marketing materials for exhibitions, such as MOVE IT, magazine advertisements, online banners for industry websites and social media.
Marketing Strategy
We developed a number of industry partnerships with awarding organisations, including ISTD, IDS and CDET, to endorse the software to their members. We also ran special promotions during off-peak times for dance schools.
E-Marketing and Social Media Management
To encourage dance teachers to become familiar with the software's features and interface, we rolled out regular webinars. We promoted the webinars through a series of e-shots, which we designed and built, and through a strategic and well-targeted social media campaign.
Copyrighting and Search Engine Optimisation
We provided copyrighting for online and offline marketing. For example, we produced real-life case studies of dance schools using the software, which was to be made available to potential customers. For online copyrighting, we ensured that content was keyword-rich, whilst reading naturally, to help its ranking on search engines. This proved extremely successful - the articles ranked organically on page one or two of Google for relevant keywords and phrases.
