Dance UK is the national advocate of dance and campaigns on pressing industry issues and projects. It regularly uploads new content onto its website, such as industry and member news, events, and audition and job listings.
Dance UK recognised the need to keep in touch and send more frequent updates to its fast-growing member base. However with arts funding cuts it needed a cost-effective method of communication to replace its quarterly printed newsletter.
Dance UK heavily uses social media and has a large number of followers on Facebook - Dance UK and Twitter. To complement its social media activity, we recommended sending a monthly e-newsletter, which would be directly sent to members' inboxes on the last Friday of every month, between 2pm-3pm. This would then give them a chance to read it over the weekend.
We designed a branded template that was reader friendly, interactive and clean through the use of images, quotes and the layout. This included featuring easy-digestible snippets of each news article that directed them to the relevant landing page the Dance UK site. An effective and strategic way to drive traffic to its site.
Every month we build the e-newsletter and test it to ensure that it is compatible across all popular devices.
